What’s a webhook?

A Webhook is an automated message sent from one system to another when a specific event occurs. In PitchGhost, a webhook is triggered when there are new Finds (content) identified by your Ghosts.

Instead of manually checking for updates, this system can automatically receive and handle data the moment it appears.

Setup

  • Webhook URL: Provide the endpoint you'd like PitchGhost to send the Find data to.

  • Authorization : Include a bearer token (optional) to secure and validate the request.

  • Notification mode: Choose whether you’d like to receive each Find individually or one notification per Ghost scan.

  • After Webhook options: Select if you’d like to delete Find(s), or mark them as read PitchGhost-side.
