By examining the Scanned Items from your Ghosts, you can identify overlooked opportunities and refine your Ghost settings for more accurate Finds.
Access Scanned Items
Go to a Ghost's page, click on Scans and then click on any number under the Scanned items column to see all scanned posts and why they were selected or excluded.
Adjusting your Ghost based on its scanned items
Here's how to adjust your settings based on common exclusion reasons:
Insufficient commonality: If posts are rejected because they don't have enough in common with your website make sure your website has enough publicly scalable text and that your onboarding scan was successful. Additionally, whenever you make large changes to your website you should re-run a website scan by going to Company β Business info β Redo company scan.
Match threshold: If many potential posts are excluded, consider lowering the match threshold. This adjustment allows your Ghost to capture a broader range of posts that might still be relevant.
Goal specificity: If the feedback indicates that the goal is too vague or broad, refine it by adding more context and details. This helps your Ghost better understand and select content that truly matches your criteria.
